On May 23, 2012, a jury found Freddie Lassin, formerly of Vinton, guilty of Distribution of Cocaine (5 counts). On June 15, 2012, Judge Clayton Davis sentenced Lassin to thirty (30) years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections on each count of Distribution to run concurrently. Assistant District Attorney Brett Gaspard prosecuted the case.
