On August 9, 2013, Judge David Ritchie sentenced Sheldon Parker to forty (40) years in prison for 40 counts of aggravated incest. Parker pleaded guilty as charged to all counts on February 4, 2013. Judge Ritchie sentenced him to 20 years on count one and count two, to run consecutive, and 20 years on counts 3-40, to run concurrent. Judge Ritchie ordered Parker’s time to be served with the Department of Corrections at hard labor with no benefit of good time.
The case was prosecuted for the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office by Assistant District Attorney David Palay.
