Wanting an update on your case? Whether you want to know your court date or attorney we can let you know. Please follow the steps below to ensure we give you an accurate update.
If you are a Victim:
At the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office our Victims are our top priority. We would rather talk to you personally. Please call our victim services division at 337-437-3438
If you are a Defendant:
We can not discuss specifics of your case and can only tell you your next court date. Any further questions you have in regards to your case must be discussed with the attorney representing you.
If you are represented by the Public Defender's Office, their number is 337-436-1718.
Please only submit ONE request. A representative will be in contact with you within 48 hours of your request.
Please wait 2-4 weeks after arrest and/or police report has been made before submitting your request to allow time for the file to be in our system.
If you missed your court date, the following action should be taken:
14th JDC- Report to court any Tuesday or Thursday to request a new date.
